Geral is the final monster you fight at the end of each coliseum circuit, when first encountered he appears as a mysterious individual who is of few words with an empty and solemn smile. He is able to transform himself into a giant white wolf, capable of tearing adventurer's apart and slamming them to the ground with his massive paws. It's never said where he came from, but what is certain is that he's vicious in battle and downright deadly to newbies.
The story of the Coliseum
There was once a wicked monster, 'Behemoth', (named so for his sheer size) that lurked beneath the fields of Elias, tunnelling and swallowing adventurer's whole who went digging for treasure in the fields. With the cooperation of the Rice Cake Master they flooded the tunnels beneath the city with monsters in order to invade the city.
Levi, the royal guard of the Elias Royal Family found this out before their plans came to fruition and he succeeded in preventing the invasion. After this happened, he established the Coliseum in Belos so people could train to be stronger with minimal travelling, so that they too would be able to prevent a monster invasion in the future.
It worked initially, but now the real purpose has mostly been forgotten and combatants come far and wide to pick up the plentiful rewards and prizes offered to those found victorious in the scuffles rather than to train for the sake of saving the towns and villages from monsters. Although, they can do that without instruction quite well.

{ So, I haven't been on this account for a while, so apart from reviving Geral I'd like to say-
They did a complete overhaul of Latale! Everything is different. Well, there are glitches here and there and some of the OST's are different (unfortunately) but they're in the process of balancing the game and dealing out more skills, effectively making it easier.

Does anyone remember that bill that never passed last year? CISPA?
Well, it's back and it's been passed. And I would just like to say to everyone that, if it does end up going into law that it was nice knowing all of you because I wont be online any more.
What it does is it allows big companies like google and facebook and all the rest to give the government your personal information, even if you're in another country. It's an infringement of the 4th amendment and means you will have absolutely no privacy what-so-ever on the internet.

:bulletblue: Geral's height is a very underwhelming 5'2.
:bulletblue: The amulet in the shape of the skull around Geral's neck enhances his strength and critical bonus as well as Geral considers it a good luck charm. He will never take it off and wont let anyone else touch it, the amulet is the reason he has that 'blue mist' swirling about him when he's stationary as most powerful trinkets, capes and weapons have that effect.
